I had received from the legendary Tina, an invitation to participate in an exchange for a Christmas decoration and, of course, I could not decline .... but not have done it for absolutely no reason, since Christmas is definitely one of my favorite subjects, and so .... here I am.
When I was informed the name of my combined all my doubts regarding the subject to be embroidered are stupid.
I spotted this particular pattern of Prairie Schooler (which I love) because it reminded me very much my land.
The remains of Saint Nicholas, my dear city, of which he is patron, around the year 1000-1100, or thereabouts, were "transferred" from the city of Myra, where he was buried, some sailors from Bari who led the sea in the city of Bari
Even today, on the occasion of recalling that event, the effigy of the saint is carried in sea \u200b\u200bon a caravel.
When I heard of having to prepare a decoration to Cristina (Crocette and Nutella: in the side column click on the link) who lives in France I thought it was nice to do something that spoke of Italy, and in particular of the city where I was born .

The embroidery was made on a 28 ct linen. Graziano, hand made stained with vanilla tea: yes, I know that the taste is not relevant to the coloring, but because I did not like the taste, it took me otherwise.


But the beauty for me is now! In fact I had been combined with AnnaRita (click on link: On the Wings of Imagination) and I received from her a wonderful marvel:



The embroidery is beautiful and the packaging is accurate, kept the details and lines ; refined colors: what about .... is PERFECT!
I had already seen the achievements of AnnaRita owned by my friends, but I must say that this is by far the best job I've seen "live" and it is MINE!

I was just lucky.
