The days are now visibly reduced, the school has begun for a while, and slowly we are starting to bring out the heavy sweaters: it is now autumn.
The colors of the countryside and the sea are changing, and even our board is adapting, giving us the precious and opulent fruit in autumn.
Pumpkins are one of my favorite vegetables, but not those which, in my opinion, best represent this wonderful season.
Beautiful to behold, with that bright orange color, both in reassuring and abundant forms round and in those odd and lumpy often used to decorate our homes.
Very good food, good with cakes, delicious risotto, invigorating with vegetables and fries. Very useful
then, if you think that our old farmers used them to obtain water containers to take to the countryside and that, even today, are used to make musical instruments.
So, in my opinion, is the pumpkin with vegetables such as pigs are the animals: no one throws anything away, while, on the contrary, everything is used.
